TURISMO Y PAISAJE. REFLEXIONES A PROPÓSITO DE UNA ESTRATEGIA DE TURISMO SUSTENTABLE DE LA PROVINCIA DE CHUBUT-ARGENTINA

Resumen

Este  texto contiene  algunas  reflexiones  sobre  las estrechas y contradictorias relaciones entre turismo y paisaje. Son en parte resultados de la  contribución del autor  a la elaboración  de  una  Estrategia de turismo sustentable por el Gobierno de Chubut  sobre  la base de la diversidad y  los  valores del  paisaje  de  la provincia como patrimonio y  recurso turístico. El  texto  aborda, el  papel del paisaje en la génesis del turismo,  particularmente en  Argentina,  estudia después  los  efectos del  turismo de masas  en la transformación y banalización del paisaje, presenta el  renovado  sentido  del  paisaje  como  carácter e identidad  de  cada territorio y ofrece  finalmente algunas recomendaciones para una relación armónica y positiva  entra turismo sustentable y paisaje pensando en la Estrategia de Chubut.

This paper contains some reflections on the narrow and contradictory relations between  tourism  and landscape.  They are partly a  result of the contribution of the author  to  the  production  of  a Strategy on sustainable tourism for the Government of  Chubut  based  on  the  diversity  and  the values  of the landscape  of  the province as  heritage  and   tourist   resource.  The  text approaches  the  role   of  the landscape in  the genesis   of  the  tourism, particularly  in  Argentina, studies later the effects of the  mass  tourism  in  the  transformation  and  banalisation  of  the landscape, presents the  renewed sense  of the landscape  as character  and identity  of  every  territory and  offers finally  some  recommendations for  a  harmonic  and  positive  relation between sustainable tourism and landscape, thinking in the Chubut's Strategy
